My name is Mitchell Davis, trainee Wrestler at Brookside's Wrestling.Im a 25 year old lad who currently stands at 6ft 4 inches tall and weigh in currently at 243 pounds. (110 kgs). I started wrestling in the Spring of 2015 in Essex with British Wrestling Veteran Phil Powers. When meeting new people in the Wrestling world 9 times out of 10 they have heard of Phil Powers. This was working within his academy known as Essex Wrestling Academy.
I've been training for just approaching 12 months now and I feel am progressing at a very nice pace, I have had a few trainee matches and also a couple of matches on professional shows. My debut match was in East Tilbury in Essex where I faced off against my coach in Phil Powers in a Student vs Teacher match. This was in May 2015.
My ambitions in Wrestling are what I believe pretty much anybody would have, and that is the work at the highest level on the biggest stage working for WWE. My passion for wrestling is huge and from a young child watching all various promotions on my TV. I aspired to be a professional wrestler. When I met Phil and got offered the chance to work at achieving my dream I would have been stupid to turn it down and Im so glad I took myself to his academy to start this incredible journey.
Growing up as a kid my inspiration and my favourite wrestler and until this day has to be Hunter Hearst Helmsley aka Triple H. From first watching wrestling he was in the peak of D Generation X causing all types of mischief. The way he carried himself and evolved with the times to make his character constantly stay relevant always appealed to me. I could always relate to the way Triple H performed. He inspired me to want to experience that spine tingling feeling when your music hits. Everybody knows that feeling.
My favourite match that I always think of? Hmmm thats a tricky one. Their is always a few in the mind that pop up but I Would be torn between two. I'm going to pick two HHH matches because I think with him being such a favourite of mine I always find myself linked to his matches.
Triple H vs Cactus Jack. Royal Rumble 2000 .
This match for me had everything, the fight , the passion , the desire to make it a classic and HHH and Mic Foley worked so well off each other during a very good feud.
Triple H vs Chris Jericho for the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship .
I always loved this match as it was a match at Wrestlemania where HHH returned from his Quad injury . The whole crowd was with him on that night and when he got that One two Three, I just always wanted to feel that buzz he must have been feeling that night.
